Changing the reality begins here!

The MESC Initiative
We are a group of students and young professionals from Tel Aviv University who seek
to obtain responsibility over our regional future. Knowledge is power, we have always
been taught, thus, understanding this conflict in a balanced manner would effect
critically on the future solution to this conflict.

Last year,
We have decided to launch an initiative in the shape of a professional training
conference that will acquire its participants both knowledge and vies upon the conflict.
The first MESC hosted fifty promising students from all over the world, including the
region in a five-day conference.

MESC's Goals and Tools
conference will strive in order to achieve the following goals:
• Acquiring a thorough, as well balanced, knowledge of the conflict.
• Understanding all sides of the conflict.
• Seeking original solutions to the conflicts.
• Training a worldwide network of ‘good will ambassadors’.

how do we do that?
• Academic lectures on region’s history, by world-famous specialist. MESC2 is
being academically-sponsored by Tel Aviv University.
• Professionals’ lectures.
• Negotiating Simulations which will provide the participants the complexity
aspect of the conflict.
• Field tours, presenting an unbiased, first-handed witnessing of the reality of the conflict.

MESC2 is a real, experienced, opportunity for future young leaders to become better
acquainted with the conflict, and later on – become a real influence. Unawareness to
history and the complexity of this conflict is destructive. We, at MESC2 began already in
changing the reality, Join us!
